A number of enterprises of ANAS will cooperate with relevant organizations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The 6th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Trade, Investment, Technical, Cultural, Sports and Youth Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on December 15.
The first vice-president of ANAS, academician Arif Hashimov also took part in the event.
The agenda of the 6th meeting of the Commission includes the current state of economic cooperation between the two countries, trade and investment, energy, digital development and transport, healthcare, culture, science and education, agriculture and food security, labor, employment and social protection. protection, Islamic issues, tourism., youth and cooperation in sports, politics, security and other fields.
As a result of discussions, the co-chairs of the commission, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov and Minister of investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih signed the protocol of the 6th meeting of the Joint Commission.
The document covers political and security issues, trade and investment, energy, digital development and transport, health, culture, science and education, agriculture and food security, labor, employment and social protection, Islamic issues, tourism, youth and sports. Expansion of cooperation in various fields is also planned.
Thus, article 5 of the protocol provides for the study of Islamic traditions by Saudi Arabia in the works of Nizami Ganjavi, as well as the influence of his works on the development of literature and philosophy. At the same time, the parties agreed on mutual cooperation between the Institute of Physiology of ANAS named after academician Abdulla Garayev and the Center for Organ Transplantation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on "Innovative approaches to the creation of immunological tolerance on experimental models." In addition, the Institute of Physiology of ANAS will cooperate with the Geriatric Medical Department of the King Abdulaziz Medical Campus of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the topic “Research on aging among a population with a high longevity index. : biomedical aspects ".
The parties also agreed to cooperate with the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS to hold a seminar on the manuscripts of Abloh al-Qasim al-Zahawi in Baku and study the means of translation of these manuscripts.
Article 5 of the protocol provides for the provision of digital copies of manuscripts, documents, maps and photos concerning the Hajj and travel to the region to the Royal Abdulaziz Foundation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
